Phoenix Medicare Supplement | Senior Lifestyle Solutions

Medicare supplements supplied to couple

If you have medical needs and bills that go beyond what Medicare is able to cover, give your budget a makeover with a Phoenix Medicare supplement guaranteed to help get your medical bills under control. The expert team at Senior Lifestyle Solutions has over 50 years of combined experience working in the insurance field, and a nuanced understanding of what it takes to help individuals of all ages to stay prepared and protected for the future.

While not all seniors will need supplemental insurance, for many it makes the difference between keeping the budget under control and drowning in medical bills not covered by the program in the event that something goes wrong. Supplemental policies are designed to help cover the costs of co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts, making it easier to afford the quality health care you deserve.

Getting a Phoenix Medicare supplement designed to help and protect you is as simple as a call to Senior Lifestyle Solutions. If you're new to the program, you may need the advice and assistance of a skilled expert to ensure you're receiving all the benefits to which you're entitled.

For the important things that aren't covered, we offer reasonably priced, supplemental insurance through a variety of reputable carriers, giving you the personal and financial freedom that comes with knowing your expenses are taken care of. Call us for a free in-home consultation today and learn more about which supplements are right for you.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C Plans) are sometimes referred to as Medicare Replacement Plans.  This does not mean that you are no longer enrolled in Medicare A & B you are and must continue to be enrolled in Original Medicare in order to have a Part C plan.  By joining a Medicare Advantage Plan you are assigning your Medicare benefits to a private insurance carrier.  This carrier is compensated by Medicare and may also collect premiums from you for the plan.  These plans have out of pocket maximums to limit your financial exposure but they also may have co-pays, deductibles and co-insurances.  These plans will offer coverage as good as Original Medicare but may offer additional benefits as well.  There are several types of Medicare Advantage plans and we will be more than happy to go over them with you at your request.

Our licensed agents will review your situation, answer your questions and help you choose which Medicare Advantage plan is right for you.  Some of our Medicare Advantage Plan partner companies are:  AARP/Secure Horizons, HealthNet, Humana, Caremore, SCAN Health Plan of Arizona, Cigna, Arcadian (Desert Canyon Community Care), Universal HealthCare (Any, Any, Any) and more.  We shop around so you don't have to.  As your needs and these plans change every year, it is always a good idea to have a licensed professional review your current plan during the Medicare Annual Election Period (For 2012 plan year October 15th thru December 7th) to ensure it will meet your needs for the upcoming year.

Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans

Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans are only offered through private insurance carriers.  If you do not take a Part D plan when you first become eligible you may have to pay a penalty to enroll in a plan at a later date.  Part D plans cover prescription drugs for Medicare beneficiaries.  You must have Part A or Part B or both to be eligible to enroll in a Part D plan.  If you have other creditable coverage such as VA benefits or an Employer Group Plan, you may not need to select a Part D plan when you become eligible for Medicare A and/or B.

Medicare Part D plans are required to cover medications in every therapeutic class as specified by Medicare and must offer coverage as good as the standard Medicare approved format.  Each plan's network, formularies, co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance amounts and premiums will vary by plan.  Our licensed agents will review your medications to find a plan with a formulary that will meet your needs at the lowest available cost.  Some of our Medicare Part D Plan partner companies are: AARP, Humana, Cigna, HealthNet and more.  As your needs and these plans change every year, it is always a good idea to have a licensed professional review your current plan during the Medicare Annual Election Period (For 2012 plan year October 15th thru December 7th) to ensure it will meet your needs for the upcoming year.
